The ultimate film event for all who love the sea. The International OCEAN FILM TOUR brings the beauty and fascination of the oceans to the big screen. The programme consists of 5–7 inspiring short films with a total duration of about two hours. From exciting tales of adventure to spectacular water sports action to gripping environmental documentaries, the Int. OCEAN FILM TOUR again this year has collected a colourful amalgam of the underwater world and more reasons to protect it.
In mid-March 2019, the Int. OCEAN FILM TOUR Volume 6 begins in Germany and then goes on an extensive tour through 14 countries worldwide with over 150 stops. With supplementary activities, such as moderation and prize contests, each event lasts from 2.5–3 hours. In many cities, the Int. OCEAN FILM TOUR is accompanied by environmental protection organisations and activists who provide important steps each can take to protect the oceans.
This year’s program consists of five to six documentaries with a total duration of about two hours. The first films are already fixed: with Julie Gautier, we hold our breath in the breath-taking and meet a woman who has found her creative assignment Under sea level.
