Starting this November, Jimmy Fock will be joining the GearLimits team. Hayco Volkers & Mark Stokmans, partners in GearLimits: “For years we have been running the GearLimits platform. It started off as a real passion project, but in the past years, we have seen a steady, organic development of our media and of GearLimits as a company.
In 2016 GearLimits went bilingual, servicing the native Dutch market with the website GearLimits.nl and reaching out to an international audience with GearLimits.com.
In 2017 GearLimits Media Productions was launched, an in-house production company with which the growing content marketing needs of clients could be met.
Both steps have led to an increase, of viewers, visitors and followers and the one hand, and the number and scale of projects and clients on the other.
Mark Stokmans, GearLimits partner & founder GearLimits Media Productions: “With this double growth we needed somebody to strengthen our team. I’ve known Jimmy since my work for the Dutch Olympic Committee. I was one of Jimmy’s clients. I got to know him as a really likable, experienced guy, incredibly immersed in all kind of sports, and very knowledgeable on digital marketing, content creation and having fun outdoors. So we are very happy and proud to welcome Jimmy to the GearLimits team.”
Jimmy has worked in various roles for sports marketing and activation agencies, major Dutch media companies and advertising agencies. He is an avid kite-boarder and windsurfer, competes in triathlons, long-distance speed skating, recently powered through a 100+ km mountainbike race, and knows his way around ski’s and snowboards as well.
Jimmy: “GearLimits is the culmination of my love for doing sports, my experience in digital sports marketing and my ambition to make amazing content. I am really happy for the opportunity to add everything I have to the GearLimits team. It’s really, really cool what we are going to be doing.”
