The Red Bull Valparaíso Cerra – urban downhill – in Chile

Tomáš Slavik's intense winning run

Pedalling 45km/h over rooftops and through someone’s living room. We all know downhill mountain biking, but there is also urban downhill. An urban downhill track is more technical than a ‘normal’ downhill dirt track with tighter, scarier turns and hardly any room to crash.

More than 20,000 fans filled the World Heritage city hills during the 16th edition of Red Bull Valparaíso Cerra Abajo in Chile.
Czech rider Tomas Slavík performed another perfect run down the urban city track and was crowned champion for the second year in a row.
