Imperial Motion developed a self-healing shell; Nano Cure Tech (NCT). NCT is lightweight, water-resistant nylon ripstop with resealing and repairing capabilities. Naturally, nylon ripstop is extremely durable, but when combined with the special double-sided coating and the heat of your fingers, small holes and punctures can be repaired. The reinforced fibres of the ripstop also create additional reinforcement and support around the puncture, which also aids in the repair function. The healing effect works very well on small punctures or lacerations.
Imperial Motion recently started a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to bring the first self-healing tent onto the market; the Nano Cure Tent. The NCT tent can be set up by anybody in 3 minutes or less. Less time setting up more time relaxing.
